You need to at least learn not to overreact and make it his problem. You can do that much by making it a practice to not let yourself text or call or whatever until you've thought about it for some period of time and made sure it's the rational thing to do and you aren't just seeking reassurance or checking up on him or whatever. Self-discipline or you'll sabotage your own relationships and create your own worst fears into happening! We all get pangs of this, but you've got to learn not to react.
